Had to run a compression test on a 4.0 Ranger. Put the spark plugs back in and can't get any spark at all. Will turn over but not start or run one bit. Do you think cranking it without the plugs in may have destroyed the coil, EDIS control module or the magnetic pin attached to the front of the block that tells it when to fire?

did you take all your plugs out at once? or just one at a time? Maybe you plugged in the wires in the wrong spots....

Just a thought

100% sure that they are correct. Thanks

pull the boot off the plug and check the connection, if it came apart solder it back together... happen to me the other day changing plugs

It's not just one plug. It's all of them. It's has to be before the plug wires and plugs.
