I have a 99 supercab 4x4, with the 3.0L V6 in it..
I know I need new shocks, and I am considering a complete suspension rebuild (front and back). The truck came from up north and the rust on the entire undercarraige is pretty bad... Also, just hit 100k and i'd like to have this truck for awhile, so i want to take care of it.
So, my question is.. is this do-able for me? I have already done a little bit of work myself to the truck, and can figure things out fast? However, I'm pretty sure I don't have all the right tools... do I need any torque drills, sandblasters, or anything (thinking that most bolts will be very rusted)?
Also, I have a subscription to alldatadiy.com, i'm sure most of ya'll have heard of it on here, it gives great exploded views and explanations of arrangments and everything... but no detailed step-by-step instructions on this kind of thing..
So, does that exist? can I do this?
