Well today it is official...i cut corners with my recent " rebuild " and i now have a really nice rod knock...... SOAB! It was running so good and then it started making a noise that i thought would be in the head untill thursday night it got louder and more regular and i took it to my dads today and he's sure its a rod knocking. I got new main bearings, all new gaskets, 1 new piston, all other engine parts were original including the whole head except the valve guides....not really sure what to do now my dad is going to talk to the guy who did the work and i'm gonna go from their. I'm kind of tired of dumping money into my truck i may try to get something different.....ugh

He prolly didnt seat the bearings properly. BUt look at it this way, even fixing it again is cheaper than buying new.
