Is there supposed to be an 18 in front of that 62?

Since we are not worthy of a side pic of the thing or even a model number I am picturing one of these:

I replaced the pickup tube on my 413 stove tonight. It now runs nicely without flooding the interior of the stove with burning fuel, threatening to burn down the whole state of South Carolina. That one is fueled up and ready for Colorado. I also modified my plastic lantern case so that my cheap plastic funnel fits in the funnel hole. I also cut a matching hole on the other side that my bottle of Neetsfoot oil fits into.

220E... I haven't got it yet but it's on its way. Delivery expected tomorrow. It's a bit rough... but to get a birthday lantern... you have to take what you can find. I think it will clean up enough for almost 62 year old lantern.

What could be better you ask? Finding a rare 501 bottom with a 502 top (501s were recalled due to faulty tops. Coleman put 502 tops on 501 bottoms to run out on hand production of 501 bottoms) with a production date of 9/62. It's on its way here.

The cherry on top is a Coleman fuel can to put in a display with my birthday lantern and stove.

Now... you guys need to stop corrupting me and I'm seriously fighting the urge to go picking.

They must have been on strike during my birthday month, I hsve never even seen anything.

I've looked for years...

I was dumb founded when I searched and the lantern came up. As soon as I clicked it... I hit buy it now. $37

I then hit the back button... there were two 501/502 stoves. One on auction that has been taken down and refurbished and one with a buy it now for $84.95.

I waited thinking I would bid on the refurbished one. This morning with coffee i thought... Gump... you're gonna F around and not get either one. So I made an offer on the buy it now stove... and he took it!

I think I'm still gonna bid on the auction stove... if it goes reasonably low... I'm likely to buy that one too. Then I'll paint the first one red and keep searching for a 200a red birthday lantern.
