Cold air

I am wanting to make a cold air induction. Will it be ok to move the MAF on a shorter tube or is it programmed for the tube length.
 
The lower section if the air filter box is busted and all the duct work is gone. Thanks for the info.
 
the MAFS can be located anywhere in the intake tube. distance from the TB isnt relevant.

the distance between the O2's and the head's is part of the computers programming though...thought that was interesting when i learned it...:icon_cheers:
