I'm wanting to get rid of the leaf springs on my '91 Ranger XLT and replace them with a triangulated 4 link and coilovers. I want to make a streetable drag truck for weekend fun. My question is what spring rate or load rate would be appropriate for this. I would like a fair amount of squat on the launchs. I've looked for calculators but they only tell me how to find spring rate with dimensions of the coil. Anyone help me?

what you asking for/about, is more about the geometry of the link system its self.

i just wanna know what would be the right RANGE of spring rate so i can have good lauchs but still keep to truck streetable
