Sorry, 34 years old. Wonder if there is a isolator under the top coil.
I dont remember ever seeing a top isolator. Ive taken a few apart. Not to say they werent ever there, but i doubt it.

Either way i go i still have get seats and isolators for the bottom. I figured OEM would be easier and cheaper. Dirty

Manual dosent show one. 2WD had them

If you wouldnt mind, post pics of the homemade isolator once you take it apart. I'm cheap and it doesnt sound like too bad of an idea, but I'd like to see the wear.

I want to say I had them on my 88 2wd... can't remember seeing one on any of my 4wd.

And my math is off today. But if those are original coils... a fresh set would perk things back up.

I wouldn't mind a new set of springs but im still looking for seats and isolator. Springs are everywhere. but that still dont get me seats and isolators for them. Dirty

Ill post a pic of the iso alwaysFLOoReD when i get it out. I dont mind cheap if it works. I figured i would be done by now. Got to pick up my camper before i tear into it. Have to dig and find parts for this antiquated machine. Thanks Dirty

Here is the other side. I can see the seat, its rusty but its still there. The isolator is toast.
