Coil Spring Removal

What's the easiest way to get the coils springs out on a 2000 Mazda 2WD???? Do the ball joints have to be removed, coil spring compresor etc?????

Put the truck on jack stands, remove wheel, remove brake caliper and tie it up, remove shock, remove bolt on the top of the spindle that holds the ball joint of the upper control arm. Remove ABS sensor, can't remember if removing the tie rod end joint is necessary, but it wouldn't hurt. Then let the lower control arm all the way to the ground, and the spring will come right out. I rented a spring compressor tool when I put my coil spacers in, and it helped by not having to let the lower control arm down quite as far.

Yup it worked, did not have to take tie rod end out though!!!
