coil spacer questions 1998 2wd ranger

I have a stock 2wd ranger and I bought a set of topgun customs 2.5in coil spacers. 2.5 is the lift not the size of the spacer but I've read if you go more than 2in you need new uca but others have said 3in. Would will these 2.5in total lift spacers work for a while with stock?. If not where can I get a set of uca for a decent price, not looking to break the bank
