I search in the web, but I find nothing.

I have buy a coil spacer 2" for instal on my ranger 2wd 1994.

But I don't know how install them.

I need special tool? (for retain spring)

What I need to remove for remove the coil spring?

thanks

You dont need a special tool but a coil spring retainer will help.

Take off the tire
Unbolt lower shock mount and sway bar connector
Remove coil spring retainers and pull out coil
Add stud extender if needed
Put on the spacer
Reinstall coil spring and retainers
Bolt up shock and sway bar
Put tire back on

Thats pretty much the basics of it. I might have forgot something considering im dead tired and have been drinking though.

It is very nececary to also install a camber shim?

or the camber is not very excecive

Very necessary if you want your tires to last

It would be a good idea to get it lined up after that too.

Also at least on my 4wd the coil spring retainer nut is an inch and one eigth which is massive. I had to ride my bike to lowes (which ended up not having one) cause we took my truck apart before we checked the socket size. Also you might want a total of 3 people cause we had to have two crow bars on the coil and one person running the jack under the beam to reseat the coil.

Yeah that was pretty much the story when i did mine too. It sucks getting it pulled apart only to realize you dont have the right tools. And then when i finally get the right size wrench the damn retainer nut was stuck like no other. Had to get push on it with my legs and my back against a wall to get it off. PB Blaster is your friend.

Mine wasnt stuck at all but my truck is completly rust free...thats why i love Oregon

Yours wasnt stuck? You're lucky. My truck doesnt have any rust on it and it was still a pain in the ass

My wasn't bad. I took a tip from somebody on here and sprayed 2 days before with PB Blaster just to be sure! :) I love PB Blaster. Some times I spray it on spam and eat with cornbread! :@

I just used a little wd40 and a breaker bar and it came right off.
