I would love to lift my 03 ranger, but the only problem is its an 03, and im sure everyone here knows how expensive a decent lift is for 03 and newer rangers. i cant drop 3,000 grand on a lift.

i did notice the front end is a little lower then i would like however, i think the front is sagging a little by looking at the space from the bump stops in the front (its about a 2 1/2" gap at most!). i was wondering if i could put coil over shocks without really changing much else to the front suspension aside from maybe removing the torson bar.

If this is way out of question then is there anything i can adjust to lift the front a little? Im not talking about making a huge lift in the front, just to bring it up a little until im satisfied with it.

Btw, if you didnt notice my screenname here, its a 4x4 ranger.

Just turn the torsion bars up 1.5" and get it realigned. Be a bunch cheaper.

cool, ill see if i can do that without much trouble, depending how rusted it is.

I was think about coil overs becuase i need new shocks all around anyway, so i figure, kill two birds with one stone and replace the shocks and get a better ride/performance with the coilovers as compared to keeping the torsion bar.

I was looking though the other day and it seems there isnt much room for a coilover shock anyway but i could be wrong, at any rate, looks like ill be turning up the torsion bar and getting regular shocks from advance.

Thanks for the info

I have an 03 too I spent the longest time looking for a cheaper way to lift it but I finally just broke down and shelled out the money for an straight axle conversion (or SAS like its refered to here) its in the process of that right now. Good luck on finding somethin cheaper though.

like a solid axle like a jeep? That doesnt like too bad of an idea depending on the work/money involved. How is that going so far?
