Hello all. Does anyone know what size thread size and pitch the stud is that is threaded into axle beam on 92 ranger 4*4? I know it is bigger on bottom, but small thread(top) is so badly rotten it will be easier for me to just cut out the spring with torches, and remove stud and replace with new one. Even the nut just crumbles when you put a wrench on it. Lovely canadian salted roads. lol. Thanks in advance. Mike

Bottom thread is 3/4, top is 5/8"

Both are "coarse" threads (11 TPI for both I believe)

That stud is actually a double-ended bolt. The two ends of it are not replaceable separately.

Thanks. Ya i was aware that they are one piece, but i was hoping to just use one 3/4 inch piece of threaded rod that i will get from brafasco, and drill out the hole in the coil bucket to compensate for the larger diameter thread.

That would work, sure. :icon_thumby:

Just make SURE that threaded rod is Grade-8. Most "allthread" is Grade-2 junk or worse if it's not specified.
