1990 ford ranger. 2.3 DIS with 8 plugs. Sputters and bucks after slowing down and then giving it gas, sometimes stalls when slowing down. Starts and idles perfect. Performed EEC IV diagnostic test (KOEO) with voltmeter per instructions in Tech Library.Got code 122 (TPS low voltage, possible short or open). Checked TPS itself and connector with voltmeter and all measurements were within spec. Should I still go ahead and change the TPS out? It would be great if this was the problem, I just don't want to spend the money on it if there's other things to check/rule out first. I've read to check grounds on everything? But not really sure where to start with that.
Other things I've tried: Changed plugs, wires, fuel filter. No difference.
Thanks for any help in advance.
