Ok.
I have the tranny dropped.
I pull the clutch out.
I grab the new disc.
I slide it on.
I align the pressure plate to the three studs.

And..... The Bolt holes dont line up!!!!!!!! WHAT THE ******?!?!?!:bawling:

WHY DOSEN'T THIS DANG THING LINE UP!?!?!?!?!?!:pissedoff:

did them idiot engineers change the disc size over the year...........:dunno:

:sad:At least I got a proper slave cylinder..:)

try a different set of holes, this happens to me occasionally, but i just turn it until they match

wrong clutch kit then. what else could it be if the pressure plate is too large in diameter for the flywheel???

I am guessing wrong kit as well. yesterday i had a guy sell me the wrong bearing for the spindle. I took one look at it and said so. he really didn't believe me. so i pulled the Spare spindle bearing out of my glove compartment. and said ok.

now look.

anyways. parts guys don't always get it right.

Welp..... I'm stuck with it cause I bought it form a technician privately, whom said It came OUT of a 03 4.0L Ranger because when his buddy bought the truck he put in a racing clutch..

It is in nice shape!!

i work as a tech. i would say 50% of the time they are WRONG. its annoying especially when the wrong parts take up 1-2 days to ship.. then you have to wait another day to get the right part.

There's your problem. I believe SOHC flywheels are different than OHV flywheels...
