I put a c6 behind a 302 in my 91 that used to be a stick, how do I overide the clutch switch so the clutch doesn't have to be depressed to start the truck?

Thanks!

hey bud, there will be a switch on the steering column going down to the fire wall, only one on there... unplug it and then run a wire to the prung on you solenoid, but you need to find the 1st pink wire on the right, go to aa and get the wire ends that you can plug together if you know what i mean. i can take pics tom. of mine and get back to you on it.

connect the 2 wires of the safety switch together.

no, it will close the circuit. the only time there is current through that circuit is when you start the engine

Automatic trucks have a jumper in place of the CPP switch for anyone else wanting an easy way to do this. Same wiring.
