So i had my clutch repalced saturday.. Picked it up monday. Replaced sklave cylinder, flywheel, clutch set. I'm not sure exactly what "chatter" sounds like. When i let off the clutch into first gear my truck shakes slightly and i get this loud vibration/"chatter" noise. I had the noise before parts were replaced i always though it was a heat shield or something. The shop showed me my old flywheel, cracks all around it, they said this would cause chatter. So can someone tell me if what i am experiencing is chatter from inside the tranny? Again, only going into first gear from stop it shakes the truck slightly and sounds very vibrational/chattery..

My other problem now is this.. Under acceleration in all gears i have this ticking/popping type noise.. I listen and listen and thought maybe its exhaust leak or something. They tightened my exhaust parts and gave me no answer. The noise was not there before the new parts were installed and this noise is heard only in gear under acceleration. Not noticeable in neutral revving engine.

Sorry i am in a hurry typing this, tried to get straight to the point. Thanks in advance for the help.

Anybody..? Just would like to know the description of chatter? I'm not sure if that is what i'm experiencing or not, plus this ticking noise. Its almost like injectors but i never noticed the noise before I had the clutch parts repalced. I only hear it under a load when i'm accelerating. When i'm cruising or in neutral the noise is not present. Only in gear during acceleration, 2nd and 3rd gear is very noticeable.. Any ideas would be great

with the chatter it almost sounds like they left something loose. either the flywheel or pressure plate.
