Clutch quick disconnect

is there any better disconnects for the clutch line?? mine keeps popping the line out of my 93 ranger

Replace the hose. The end is brittle, the aluminium tends to corrode and the retainer will not hold it in. Or the retainer needs the tangs to be bent out to better hold the line in. I have dealt with and seen both in my experience with these trucks.

my hose is flexable and the aluminum is nice and clean but the slave is has some updated flat clip that dont seem to hold

Remove the clip and grind a little bit of material off of it. I had the same problem as you.

Hmmm, I just replaced the slave cyl on a Navajo. the old line won't go in the new Perfection unit. Seems like that clip is what's preventing the connection. It's digging in to the bevel on the aluminum insert.

So, that clip will come out and go back in with the tranny in place?

what year is your truck? 92-older is different than 93-newer. They look very close but wont fit each other. you can get the clip out but it always seemed to bend when going back in and wouldnt hold.
