I just put in a new clutch hose and i have bled the system to the point where its not pushing out air anymore however the clutch is still poor compared to what it was before i replaced the line. Any ideas? is there somewhere else to adjust the clutch by chance?

Sorry i didnt know whether to post this here or in transmissions. Let me know if its not ok and ill post somewhere else.

wow so i have to take the whole system out to bleed it properly? thats bs lol i think ill just deal with it the way it is

thank you for the video though it was very informative!

You don't have to take the whole system out, just the master and the line, which isn't actually too bad once you do it a few times.

You really don't want to just deal with it the way it is because poor clutch release will do damage to the clutch and transmission.

I do agree, these systems were poorly designed. I'm trying to figure out a better way to do this with a vacuum setup.

I did watch that video, and I love Perfection's stuff. When I do my own clutches I usually just buy one of their pre-bled systems. Haven't had a problem yet.

You don't have to do all of that...if you undo the clip on the clutch pedal connecting it to the pushrod and then from outside the vehicle turn the master cylinder and pull it out of the firewall then take the push rod out and there is a c clip holding the piston in...remove that c clip and then slowly carefully remove the piston....be ready to replace it immediately....when you remove the piston you will likely see the master is full of air...wait for the fluid to fill the master...(this happens quickly make sure your reservoir is full of fluid) then replace the piston and c clip reinstall the master and pushrod/pedal connection...
