Alright so I have my tranny back in and as I posted a while ago i had to disconnect my hydro clutch line from the master cylinder. I put the line back in and put the orignal roll pin back in since no one around here can seem to order me a replacement. The master cylinder leaks around the roll pin and connection, doesnt build any pressure in slave cylinder. Could there be some sort of gasket/o-ring that I am missing or do I need a new roll pin since they compress when you insert?

Thanks

there's an O ring around the end of the clutch line, I bet you lost it somewhere in the hustle... the roll pin is going into plastic, it's not compressing much if at all... the O ring has to be the culprit... if it's leaking, it's not going to work.

as for the O ring, maybe try a ford dealer, they used the same master cylinder in pretty much everything Ford that had a hydraulic clutch, they changed it a little bit in '93, but I bet if you went to a ford dealer they could get you one...

Slightly off topic, but in instances like these I find that it is very helpful to have a random assortment of new O-rings on hand. You can buy kits with both metric and SAE sizes. For me, having the O-rings has been especially handy while working on motorcycles, but every once in a while I find it convenient to have them around. They're not all that expensive (especially when compared with buying individual bits from dealers), and you can find them in different materials to suit different applications. Just a thought.

Thanks I thought there must be an o ring I missed. My girlfriend went down to the ford dealer and had the mechanic call me and the guy had no idea and sent me to a tranny shop. The tranny shop had no idea so he sent me to a part store (which sent me to the ford dealer). Vicious circle...

Anyway I am going to the dealer tomorrow to try again and if not then o-ring assortment here I come.

For all interested parties and future people with this problem...

I found out it is a 5mm O-ring. The roll pin is somewhere around 9/64" which is not sold anywhere. I am certain its metric but no one around here sells those either. I just put the old roll pin and 2 O-rings and no leaks. I am going to get a fatter O-ring around spring time but it works now. We just got 12" of snow dumped on us (After getting 8" a few days ago) so having the 4x4 over the one wheel driver of fury in a Hyaundai is awesome.
