Is there an aftermarket solution to the junky clutch master and slave cylinder to allow better shifting? Are we really stuck with the clumsy shift Ford gave us? I have a 95 supercab 2.3l m5odr1 2wd. There are times I have to actually turn the truck off to shift from nuetral to first. Speed shifting is out of the question and rowing gears on some days is seems to take an act of Congress. Gotta blip the throttle and kinda wiggle it in. Fluids are at proper levels and no air in the lines. Feels like it just doesn't fully depress the clutch. Any solutions?

I just flushed my system (clutch and transmission) and it made all the difference. I had the same symptoms. You might want to try it and see if it makes a difference!

Just ad the clutch and slave replaced 3000 miles before I bought it. New fluid already. I read on another ranger forum something about a different mastercylinder but not a huge fan of that site. I'm planning a 5.0 swap with a m5odr2 in the near future. Gonna be a basic expo 5.0 swap so the granny should hold well. But they from what I've seen react the same way.gonna be a stock expo motor with headers and exhaust cold air kit and maybe a chip if I can find one priced right.
