Hey guys, Im currently at the end of my 302 sas ranger and am at my last problem. I have a zf 5 speed behind my 302 and I cant get the slave to hold fluid. I read up that certain clutch lines have o rings that arent big enough for the slave. So I went to take the clutch line off to put a bigger o ring on and the little white plastic sleeve that releases the line from the slave is gone. Apparently the line I bought from autozone was used and it didnt have the white sleeve on it.

Ive read 2 other posts with this same problem but all the suggestions, like a hose clamp or a nylon split bushing(which i cant find anywhere), I cant get to release. Pretty much im just fishing for some more ideas becuase im fresh out. Thanks!

if it doesnt have the white release plastic thing and you dont have a newer slave with a removable retainer ring your only option is to cut the line and replace the line going from Master to Slave, its not to expensive if I remember correctly. Shouldnt take but 45 mins max to replace it.

I can cut the line all I want but I need to get the fitting out of the slave to replace the o-ring.
