Clutch kit?

I've installed a clutch pedal for the conversion to manual from the A4ld. The clutch pedal and master are out of an 87. The FM-145 feels like it has to much play but I've got a FM-146 out of an 89 that's tight.

I'm going to swap over bell housings and use the FM-146.

When I buy the clutch kit is there any thing I should look at? Do I go with model year 87 or 89 and does it make a difference.

Clutch brands any different?

Want to buy the clutch kit today so if anyone can fill me in I would appreciate it!

Get a clutch for a 4.0, it's worth it! I just did mine.

Sent from my Casio G'zOne Commando 4G, it's the John Connor of Smartphones. You cannot kill it...

How much modification do I need to do? I am at the point where I want to just plug and play!

4.0 clutch needs the flywheel, starter, block plate, and one extra wire run to the starter.

It's not a lot of work, just some extra parts, one of which can be hard to find.
