Clutch kit rings

Okay so i bought an exedy clutch kit, it came with pressure plate, clutch, throwout-bearing, and also, a little bag with an O ring, and some sort of snap ring. I know the o ring goes on the hydraulic line, but i can't for the life of me figure out where this snap ring type thing goes on?!
Any help?

It holds the T/O bearing on the slave cylinder. Your replacing the slave cylinder anyways(you better be) and it probably came with a T/O bearing already so you don't need the clip.

well i got my slave cylinder with the TO bearing as one unit, (guessing its a new thing now), so your right, i suppose i don't need it, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CLARIFYING THAT THOUGH!!!!
