She's a 97 2.3 with a 5spd behind, dont know the code for the tranny.
But anyways over the past two days my clutch pedal has been getting more & more dead. Now the pedal just feels limp & my clutch won't engage. Any ideas guys??

Slave cylinder more than likely. Has it had a clutch job since you've owned it?

Maybe you have a small leak? What's your fluid level like? I suggest you start to diagnose by checking for proper level, and then bleeding the clutch...

Sounds like the slave to me, happened to my truck but it went dead in a matter of 30mins of driving and i had to power shift to get it home. Pull the rubber cover off the bottom of the bell housing and look up inside, if it is wet its time for a new slave

Thats what i was thinking....gracias seniors, just wanted a 2nd oppinion before i start teardown on anything

Check for leaks at the master cylinder too. I have an '03 in the shop right now with a major leak from the master cyl pushrod. It's dripping off of the bracket onto the carpet and the switch on the rod is full of fluid.

good idea. Haha. I dont have carpet so i wouldnt even notice it if it did leak there :icon_cheers:

Ok so the fluid is awful low & ive read that if it gets to low air can be introduced the system & its like brakes that havent been bled. If theres air in it it dont work. So today i'm gonna try & bleed the clutch. Any tips?? Oh & i checked the master cylinder, it seems to be fine. No leaks or anything up in there
