Hey guys I just bought a 94 ranger with a 5 speed and the clutch pedal is really hard to push in and it doesn't go in that far. I was wondering is there a way I can get the pedal to come out more and be easier to push? Thanks for the help guys

Does the clutch engage and disengage properly? The rangers don't have much pedal travel.

Ya it engages properly. I had a 97 with the same motor and the clutch was alot easier to push and it moves alot more than this one

When you say it doesn't go in, you mean you physically can't push the pedal all the way to the floor?

Did you do a visual inspection of the linkage and mounting? Plus what clutch is installed? OEM style or performance?

I have no idea what kind of clutch it is but the truck is all stock. No I havent looked at the linkage.

I'd take a look at the linkage first. There could be some type of binding. :icon_confused:

These are hydraulic clutches..What linkage are you all referring too? The only one I am aware of is the linkage on the pedal.
