94 4x2 2.3L (not the truck in my sig) I replaced the clutch, slave, through out, flywheel. 2 years ago and the truck has been running great until now the clutch doesn't release until it is at the floor and then it is only like 1/2 released (can't get it into gear while running) the clutch fluid seams to be the right level. any ideas where to start looking? I was thinking ether air in the line or the master cylinder is bad.

Might be time to replace the throwout bearing and maybe the master cylinder? Maybe just try bleeding it again? That'd be at least a cheap way to try to fix it.

Try bleeding it, check for leaks in the lines too. The clutch fluid level can be fine one day and low the next. It's a bit crazy like that.

The master might be shot too. If bleeding doesn't help at all, that's where I'd look. If it fixes it for a few days, the slave is probably shot.

+1 It's leaking or bleed it.

Had that problem with my 99. Replaced the master (already bled when received) and no more problem.

You might try it.

Clutch

I had a female friend that thought her sons truck needed a new transmission since clutch peddle went to floor, I noticed a lot of brake fluid run off behind and below the master cylinder,, It took about 30 mins and about $13 for a kit at AutoZone,, Always check your simple fixes first,, Her son was all kinds of happy.

happend on my 00, and it turned out the be the clutch line and slave cyl

pull the little inspection plug and see if its leaking in the bellhousing, mine didnt drip on the outside so i never noticed it...btw watch your eyes
