clutch from hell

i took my tranny out for fourth time. replaced the release bearing with a better one, turns out my starter bearing exploded at some point. replaced it and removed pieces but still sounds like a piece is rattling around & kinda like a slight grind & when i creep forward somtimes it locks up or jerks. any ideas cuz im going nuts with this problem?

Did you take the whole clutch and flywheel off the last time you took it apart? Sounds to me like there's a piece of something still in there. You gotta look everywhere anytime something flys apart in these things parts will get stuck anywhere they can and unless you take an extended period of time and take everything out clean everything and put it back together its going to come back and bite you in the a**.

i had the same symptoms with my clutch. turned out to be broken springs in the clutch disc. a piece of one got wedged into the pressure plate, wouldnt allow it to release completely

i took out the whole clutch out but i never touched the fly wheel. i just checked it out & it all looked good. im gonna give it one more shot today.

turns out i had a cluster f#%@ of problems. took tranny back out, spun the input shaft & my wired noise was comin from in there above the first set of gears you can see when u take the pan off. way to deep for me so im scraping that tranny. thanks for those of you that tried to give me some help.
