Clutch advice

Just be sure to take a good look at the flywheel and pilot bearing.

yeah I think the kit comes with a new pilot bearing. My clutch as it is works fine so hopefully the flywheel will be fine.

On another note, am I okay using a aftermarket slave cylinder? I read on another forum to only use a ford slave cylinder (which is like $130 vs $60) though I have seen people recommend the luks.

Not sure. I went with a Duralast part ($60)from autozone that comes with a lifetime warranty. But on the other hand, I have had to replace it a few times.

I don't like the autozone brand (duralast)

I was going to say don't forget the pilot bearing. I think I have one that isn't doing so well causing some of my shifting problems. I don't think it got changed when my clutch was done.
