I'm not sure what caused the streaks but something has perm stained my cluster plastic?

So far I have tried washing it with soap/water, simple green, and buffing it with some toothpaste. The toothpaste buffed out some haze....making the splotches more noticeable.

Any ideas? I don't like to mess around with plastic much as I usually do more damage than good.

2005 B-series and 2005 Rangers used digital dash(HEC) and fortunately that was the ONLY year that didn't have PATS, so no transponder keys
BUT...............
The HEC cluster and engine computer are "married" so neither can be swapped without "re-marrying", this was to prevent Odometer tampering, i.e. swapping in lower mile cluster to sell vehicle for more money

So your best option is to try and replace the clear plastic cover, which should be the same on 2004 to 2011 Rangers and B-series
Might be the same as 1996 to 2011 but not sure
