Hello everyone,
I have a 2008 regular cab 4 cyl 5spd shortbox Ford Ranger that has started making a clunk when driving at an angle over speedbumps. The clunk occurs when one of the two rear wheels travels over a speedbump. I can "feel" the clunk in the floor of the truck when it occurs. It only happens when driving over speedbumps at an angle and when the 1st rear wheel hits it.
I tried jumping on the bumper to see if I could re-create the clunk but it only occurs when driving over speedbumps at an angle.
Any ideas?
B.T.W., the truck has 50,000 miles on it.
