When ever I turn the temp. knob to full cool or full hot, I get a clicking noise coming from the blower motor area in the dash. I was told it was the control panel in the dash. I bought one from a guy on here, replaced it, and still have the noise. While this clicking is taking place, if I hit the blower motor area in the passenger seat foot area, the clicking will either stop or change pitch. Could I have something down in the compartment and when the range (knob) is turned full either way, it causes it to bind up in the blower???

Thanks in advance guys! Terry

Mine changes day to day. A bump in the road can make it start. It only will do it on full cool or full heat. ????????????

Could be something down in one of the vent tubes or fan. Maybe something that broke off and fell in there or something that got jammed in a vent..

My '96 clicks too, I hate rattles and squeaks but kinda like the clicking.

I have to change my heater core soon and If I find what making the noise I'll let you know.
