hey guys I was just wondering how to properly clean up my lower intake manifold runners. I have it out and there is quite a bit of carbon and "gummy" unburned fuel I think. Is it safe to just use a small toothbrush sized wire brush as long as I'm not pushing real hard? thanks for the advice.

It's metal. I don't think a wire brush is going to hurt it. Carb cleaner might speed things up too.

I had mine cleaned by some process at a machine shop when I had it milled, came back spotless. Toothbrush won't hurt anything, just make sure it's real clean before you put it back on just in case there are any hidden chunks.
