I will soon be dropping my 97 (:yahoo:) and i have been doing a lot of research on how to do this. Im not slamming it just a mild drop. I need clarification on necessary parts needed for this. I am looking for something around a 3/4. I know i am going to need Dream Beams and a flip kit, but i need to know are drop shocks necessary and is there any other parts i will need (besides bushings)? What is the risk of running stock shocks with a drop like that? Thanks :icon_thumby:

in the front you will be fine with stock shocks. the dream beams are set up to run stock shocks and springs for the 3in drop. the only new bushings you may need for the front are the radius arm bushings, the beams should come with new bushings in them.

the rear drop shocks are reccomended, nitro slammers work great. trimming the bump stops is also a good idea in the back as you will have limited travel after the drop. I am dropped 5 in the back and am goingto get a mini notch to get some travel back.

like above DJM 3/4 drop with Doetsch Nitro Slammer shocks. Check out my site and vendor forum.
