i left my hubs locked for the 10th time, didnt feel like getting out of truck, and i drove home, then i left home and drove probabaly another 10 miles forgetting about the hubs, and the drivers side starting making this loud clacking noise, i thought i had something stuck in the tire, but a bystander told me my hub is stuck in lock(they are manual hubs so they werent stuck), so i remebered i didnt unlock them so i did and it went away on the drive back ome, it only happened at speeds above 25ish mph, is this normal? or could possibly something wrong, new to 4wd, do they get overheated or something? going to remove hub and see if anything suspicious falls out. last time i checked about 2k ago they were full of grease.

Check your axle ujoints, Sounds like thats your problem, catch it now before it breaks and it cost you a hundred instead of 20
