I've used up enough elbow grease to making the paint on my truck look good. But now the chrome stripe at the bottom is really dragging down the appearance, it's completely faded. Any advice on how to either replace this stuff or make it nice n' shiny again would be greatly appreciated!

That's supposed to be chrome? It looks white. Anyway, any local parts supplier should have chrome tape. IDK if that's what your looking for or not. Something like this.

It is indeed supposed to be chrome, that goes to show how bad it is. I've seen some of that tape before, but I'm not sure how to apply it. Should i apply right over the old stuff? Or sand the stuff a bit? Or just try to remove it altogether?

Also, on a side note, are these stripes stock? I've never seen another ranger with them.

As for the way to do it, I'd wait for someone with more experience to answer that question.

As for the stock thing, I'll agree I've never seen it before either. But, I hadn't seen a four speed ranger until about 3 days ago either.
