You could just manually open the choke butterfly and tie it open and unhook that nonsense electric crap LOL. Mine has been disconnected and the choke fully open since I got the truck home a couple months ago. Choke never worked right, and even when it was sub zero here at home I could get it started and idling within a couple minutes without the choke. I get a lot better fuel economy not having the choke at all. I may do a manual cable install on it eventually though, but for now it works just fine. I find the chokes on these carbs to be very problematic.
