I'm starting to wonder if their door handles coming off in your hand when you try to open the door is a common problem.

The tailgate handle just came off my company truck this week which officially makes it a problem with every GM truck I've had to work out of for more than a month.

I'm kinda thinking I just suck at opening doors, but I figured I'd ask if any of you guys have had this problem too.

All the rain and water for beer there come from the salem nuke plant maby.

I think it's a General Maintenance problem... seen a number of people buying replacement handles in the past few months and a lot of chevys running around with broken handles.

I simply refrain from touching any more General Messup output than is absolutely necessary, therefore avoiding any malfunction of their obviously inferior vehicle-operator-access portals, and any hardware attached thereto.

(Easy to do here, with two Fords and two Jeeps.)

Kinda like going to the doctor, and telling him "It hurts when I do this, doc..."

He'll usually tell you......"Then don't do that".

none of my parents or my brothers chevys had door handle problems

My dad's work Chevy is a 99 2500... same thing happened, the whole frickin' tail gate handle assembly game out, now you gotta fiddle around with the rods inside the tailgate to open it.

Now that's custom right there......you can't get that shit from the factory :D

yeah, its pretty common. but i was told one time there is an easy fix. my g/f's s10 does this. my friends 97 w/t does it..

That sucks. my ranger is sixteen years old and for the most part everything still works

My Chevy on the other hand is an 07 and has something stupid break every other month. This time its the tailgate handle and the windshield sprayer.

Now that you mention S10.....LOL......that reminds me of my neighbors Isuzu (made by GM) truck with the same issue. He had the damn thing duct taped to the truck to hold it in on both doors and the one on the tail gate just hung there.

He sold is a couple years ago, but that just made me laugh remembering that. :icon_rofl:

i don't wanna talk about that -few censored choice words- s10

No good. I would tell them you refuse to drive it until the sprayer is fixed if I were you. I keep the wiper fluid guys in business though.......

Eh...I really can't afford to miss any stops. I've just been stopping at gas stations twice a day to clean it.

Only a matter of time before I get a new truck. This thing is about to roll 128k
