I put the MiniDV on the front bumper of the Chevy. Next is Bus Cam. I need to think of an interesting angle. Maybe underneath.

For the bus I would say it depends on the type. A flat front style I would mount it to the top front (passenger or drivers side). If its a "standard" bus (with nose) underneath would be pretty cool.
