so im gonna be doing a sas here on my ranger but im on an almost non existent budget. and ive heard and read alot about people swapping these springs onto toyotas and rangers. the questions is i always and only see them as rears seeing how i am gonna go leafs in the front do you think i could run chevy 63's in the front too?

Anything is possible with a cutting torch and a welder.

The reason most people run them in the rear is that they are loooong for leafs. This usually means you have to build a large front spring hanger bumper combo to get the leafs far enough ahead to still have the leafs centered.

TTB trucks are damn near a bolt in for a coil SAS (mine is a bolt in), so I don't really see a reason to go leafs.

the reason im going leafs is i cant afford nor find an eb axle and i dont want to gofull width or narrow one lol. so im gonna use a waggy d44. sooo to get my axle moderatly placed in the wheel well id basically have to put my front crossmember in front of the frame horns?

you can easily use the Waggy springs...just convert from spring under to spring over....

and you should be able to mount the new crossmember for the spring hangers under the front frame horns with the Waggy leaves...

dont build it so cheap that its a pos and unsafe for the road. save some money and do it right

well i am going to build it as cheap as i can naturally but ill tell you right now id never build anything ever that i felt was unsafe or not fit for road use much less off road use for that matter. what im really trying to get at here is a good idea for spring choice as im not looking to spend an arm an a leg for springs right off the bat. even to get springs arched up is 90 bucks an hour.
