does anyone run a cherrybomb extreme or a cherrybomb vortex on a 4.0l sohc with 3 inch pipes from the cat back... how does it sound?
does anyone know if this would void my 2010 ranger warranty? i am asking because i am paying extra for the extended 6 year 60000 mile warranty and don't want to blow it but i want the truck to sound beefier.

should work in a 4.0, Brad runs his ranger with a 4.0 with a Cherry Bomb, loud.... I like the silencers, sound-mods (whop whop whop whop sound), and the stock mufflers

iv got a cherry bomb glasspack on my 88 2.3 4 banger and i think it sounds much much better and honestly the better flow is VERY notiable with acceleration for me personally i find myself shifting much faster then with my old wal mart special, the bombs right after the cat with only a tip after it,its only a 4 but its loud,vid soon

as long as you bolt it up to the stock flange you should be fine, just dont touch the cat's and go with a borla for the whop whop whop

Don't know about your dealer but, when my dad had the exhaust put on his Expedition, he asked the salesman and he said it wouldn't void his warranty. So you might try calling the dealer and see.

I've got the vortex on my 2.3....... it sounded great until my catalytic converter rusted off, fixed it then my pipes post muffler rusted off.

I have flowmaster on my 4.0 sounded so gay I had to do some tweaking on my exhaust that I'm not going to detail to get it sounding properly.

i have one on my 2.3 and i think it sounds like total shit, wish i would have gotten the stock replacement
