In my never ending quest for awesome parts, I came across these.

Spring rockers, they actually let the axle flex without spring bind.

Looks to like the perfect thing to have, I used to have the Revolver rear shackles that sorta did the same thing but they only eliminated the bind of the rear half of the spring, these completely relieve the entire spring.. These are awesome, I'm ordering a set as soon as I find the change.

Cool! Kinda reminds me of the 47-53 chevy pickups that used a torque tube and leaves in the back.

seems like your adding a weak link to the system. Flex is overrated.

I think I read where a guy was using em and he ended up having to add a trac bar as well. I may be wrong IDK. Either way I'm with everyone else, not really worth it.

Doesn't seem to me the springs twisting a bit would be all that significant anyway. The actual springs themselves (length & thickness of the leaves) are going to play a FAR bigger role in how much flex you get out of them.

I can't exactly comment on their usefulness to gain flex. However I do see some purpose to them, they will at the least twist the springs less during articulation and probably relieve a good deal of stress off of the bushings and really just relieve stress all around leading to longer life expectancy.

If you still use a rig as a DD, and wheel some of the twistier stuff, I can see them prolonging the life of the springs and other parts. They will probably help gain a little bit of flex, but I don't believe it would be a difference maker.

The neat thing is it seems they would almost completely replace the factory lift block in Rangers and retain normal height...

Um.. that looks horribly photoshopped. Just throwing that out there.

How does the axle connect to the top of the tire and why is the tire on such an angle? I thought strait axles kept a 90* angle with the tire..

What's with the random sideways tire in the back, and how is the tire pushing hard enough on the wheel well to have the flair push a dent in it, but not break the flare or even bow it slightly?

--edit--

And I just figured out what was bugging me about the bottom photo.. the truck doesn't make any shadows, but the ramp does..

theres shadow in that pic.:icon_confused: looks like the spare tire is pulled, likely due to the twist from running the ramp and stressing the tire rack.

i would be shocked if those were fake pics. from experience it is exactly what i expect to see:dunno:

it all fits to me.:dunno:

I agree. These look like another gimmick product like the Revolvers are.

It doesn't have a tire rack..

Your line on the axle in the first pic is out to lunch, and the bronco in the second pic is a different one then the first and may very have had a rear tire carrier.

I wouldn't use the 'rockers' as it's just another point to wear out, lead to axle wrap and cause a catastrophic failure when it lets go...I'll stick to U bolts please.

dude.

those pivots make a different line.

look at the ramp pic and the axle. apply that to the crack pic.....imagine the wheel stuffed just like the ramp pic on the pass side.

no photoshop:icon_thumby:

no photoshop...not even sorta kinda in my eyes.....its exactly what i would expect...

but maybe my expectations are blinding me.
