Hello,

My name is Sergiu Neagu (llsens@yahoo.com) and I live in Romania(Europe) and i own an Ford Bronco II XLT . After repainting an error occured and Check Engine signal lamp lighted in the dashboard. We verifed with Tester an the code for eror ,with the engine off, was Code 64 and with engine on the code was 64 and 96.
Please advice, becouse we don´t have a good repair shop who can handle this probleme in this part of Europe.
Also, please give me some info about shops who sell accesories and consumable for this type of car(drums, pads, oil gear filtre....)

Thank you.

hi code 64 is ACT/VAT signal has failed at the low end and 96 is a thermactor problem check connector at the sensor that measures the air temp going into the throttle body and check the sensor for resistance and the air pump bypass valve is not working properly disconnect the vacuum when running and see if you feel air blow out the filter side of valve you can tell better at a higher rpm it stops the air flow to the cat when the computer says to catalist is getting too hot. most of this stuff is on ebay just costs for shipping. is it idleing rough what are your symptoms
