Hey all new to the forum and I couldnt find anywhere else to post about a couple probs Ive been having with the truck...

Its a 94 Ranger XLT 4x4 manual tranny with the 3.0 V6. I pulled the codes from it and I got codes for the throtle position sensor, coolant temp sensor and an error code 13, DC Motor Didnt Move. I got the first 2 probs fixed but this error code 13 throws me, and the local Ford dealer cant even tell me what it means! My question is...how in the heck does this code mean and how do I go about fixing it?

Also, I have replaced the coolant temp sensor along with the t-stat. My coolant guage now moves up off cold slowly and gets a quarter of the way towards the middle and then it drops all of a sudden back to about cold and slowly repeats moving up on the guage. Since I replaced the t-stat and sensor, does this mean the guage is bad? The heat will burn ya out if ur not careful so I know its not the t-stat and there are no air logs in the system.

Any help on this would definately help me out...I am still learning about things on these Rangers.

well I wouldnt think its a bad t-stat cause the heat doesnt in any way cool down when I am going down the road...and it was 8 degress last night and the heat was cooking! As to the temp sensor...maybe I got a bad one? Isnt that what tells the guage to read whatever its supposed to read? Im going to check and be sure but we thought we got all the air logs outta the system but we will check again.

As to the error code 13, what is the ISC? Idle Speed Control?
