So, earlier today i had to go to my school for registration for senior year(woot
) and my truck was fine... then later i let my sister and mom take it to give some stuff to goodwill... they come back and tell me that my check engine light is on, so i'm like WTF, it was fine 2 hours ago. i let it cool off just in case because its hot as shit outside. i leave to go to my friends house, CEL is still on... i look in the engine compartment and i look down on the left side right next to the exhaust manifold that theres a sphere-looking thing that has basically melted and now it looks like there might be some sort of sensor sticking out... could this be the cause of my problems? or do i have to take it into the shop to have it looked at?
