Hey I have looked up and down in the tech section. I see the code definitions listed, but I would like to know how to read the codes? I have heard using a paper clip to jumper a connector is an option. Anyway, I have a 1991 4wd Ranger w/2.9 if anyone can help that would rock. Also read there is a way to read flashing codes? Thanks guys, this is my first Ranger and I am learning my way around here.

go to oreillys and ask for the code reader. its on the passenger side under the hood behind the air box.

I can look this up Tomorrow, but jumping it won't give you all the codes sometimes. A dedicated reader is way better. They can read them at most auto parts stores, our you can buy one for dirt cheap. It will pay for itself in the long run.
