Are there any out there?! I've checked Summit, Tire Rack, Discount Tire and eBay...nothing really sticks out.

What other vehicles can I cross from? All I want are three cheap steel wheels to replace my disintegrated spare and get a couple of studded tires for winter next year. Three cheap OE 14" deer hoof wheels would be just dandy as well...

Anywho, kinda irritated that I can't find anything.

97 2wd

i would sell you all four of mine, but i dont know if you are all about the shipping from michigan

Summit has Cragars...they are cheap...chrome steel...
anything is better than my stock 14x6's...

If you didn't mind buying used stock wheels you could try a local junk yard, I had wanted a extra set of wheels a few years ago to mount winter tires on, I tried my local junk yard and got 5 15" steel wheels (needed a spare) for around $10 each, $50 for all 5 iirc. You also could watch at garage/barn sales I got a second set of 15" at one.

I think any 14" or 15" ranger/explorer wheel should work for your truck, I have heard of 98+ wheels not working on older 4x4s because the center hole is to small to fit over the hub. You have 2wd so that should not be a problem for you.

I went to the 15" wheel on my 97 2wd because I could only find one tread pattern in the stock size locally and it was not a snow tire, going to the 15" gave me a lot more choices for snow/ice tires and for summer tires

This page in the tech library covers some other possible makes/models you could get wheels from. 1/2 way down has pics of ranger wheels

What are you considering cheap? I got 5 15x10 black steelies from Summit for less than $300 shipped and I thought that was cheap. Anyway my buddy is selling a set of 15x8 steelies with the fake beadlock with a set of old 31x10.50 Pro-Comp MT's for cheap, I'll find out what he wants and post some pics if you're interested, they are located in Manahawkin NJ.

Are you still looking for some wheels?

I just got done install my lift with different tires and wheels so I no longer need my 15x7 deer hoof wheels. Let me know as we are about 3 and 1/2 hours from each other.

If you're still looking, check out rustysoffroad.com - they're a Jeep dealer/fabricator but wheels fit just fine! They have wheels as low as $48/ea IIRC and they look a lot like the ProComp 97 series wheels :icon_thumby:
