Cheap Lift? 1500 coils....

I have searched through here a bit to no avail, however a friend of mine told me that my 2001 SOHC 4.0l xlt ranger (a-arm w/ coil) suspension can be lifted about 2.5 inches with a set of 99-06 chevy 1500 coils, my question is.... has anybody heard of this, and what would i need to change/adjust after adding these? im desparately trying to get rid of that rediculous leveling job that comes factory, so if anybody has any info, i'd appriciate it.

there is info about it in the dezertrangers.com forum. I just rember seeing it about ayear or so ago. cant tell you any more about it really.Other then I know you will need alighment cams/plates.
