cheap/ jy mods for a 2.3 turbo.

well im looking for a list of upgrades to do to the 2.3 turbo, ie mods like la3 ecu,big vam, browntops, ect, ect.

i know this info is out there but i can't seem to find it.

a list of the cars these parts come off of and year would be apprciated.
im looking to not go all out, just doing the basic 2.3 turbo mods, exh, fmic, ecu, best flowing intake and exh manifolds, i will be keeping the stock .60/.63 t3 also just want to run 15-18 psi range.

88-89 tbird ecu from an auto if you can find it, has more timing down low because of the auto. Ebay fmic. Manual boost controller. 3" dp with around 15-18psi should get you close to 250-275 hp. You really need a fuel pump and injectors also. I melted mine down at 18-20psi untuned.

will the browntops,on a la3 and big vam support 15 psi on the 60/63 t3?

hey not to jack your thread there man but do any of you guys reprogram your Turbo ECU when you jack up your boost?

you will need a j-chip. turborangerforums.com has a lot of info on there. use the search function to look up the stuff you need. every question i had in my progress of a turbo swap has been answered there. a j-chip can do everything that you could need for a turbo tune. convert to mass air, fine tuning of a/f ratio with a wideband sensor, there are a lot of possibilities..just takes time and money, but go check them out!!! The j chip is to be used on a eec-4/5 ecu. obd1/2 you can just have the stock ecu flashed for a turbo tune.

From all that i have heard, that are a pretty cool deal. The j-chip i posted about earlier runs in conjunction with a sct programmer. for stock engines, i imagine it will give you some power, but for a tc engine...OOO YEA!
