Greetings all, I've rebuilt a 1998 4x4 ranger but still a noob. Engine and trans are back in everything is working perfectly like a kitten barring a few issues that have came up. When I connected her back up the radio wasn't working. After fixing the window regulator the radio started working when i reconnected the battery. Since then it has started working but it seems like it's grounding somewhere as the face display blinks constantly.

My battery started draining, despite trickle charging and so after conducting a parasitic loss test I narrowed it down to fuse #24 and 25. The loss is 2 amps, in my research spec for continuous drain on the ranger is 50-60 m-amps. Under the dash one of the relays was hot the top upper left, i believe this is the battery saver relay i pulled it and dropped 1 amp only. Relay testing proves it's good. I traced the wire white/yellow it goes to the GEMS module near the radio. I'm getting ready to back probe again, initially I couldn't find the drain.

My map light does not stay on, my door ajar lights are not on, i've disconnected both motors and all switches on both doors so i don't think it's the door. I saw someone mention it could be the anti-theft but haven't gotten a change to narrow down that possibility.

Does anyone have a GEMS module wiring diagram or know where i can get one? I have a Chilton's but it's not specific to the GEMS wiring diagram.

Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice!
