How hard is it to change the slave cylinder in my 97? I have 130k on it. do I have to drop tranny out? I have never messed with tranny's before but do all my own work. Lastly should I just have it done by a pro?

You have to drop the tranny to change the slave. It's not difficult but the tranny is heavy so a friend with a good pair of arms is recommended.

if its a 2wd its pretty doable on your own.

It's 4x4 I'm gonna do it asap because I need my girl cuz shes my daily driver. Any tips would be appreciated.
The tranfer case is a heavy sob. I'd remove that, then man handle the tranny.
